Here’s Something That Should Annoy You
When a female who is not between the ages of 8 and 12 wears one of those shirts that says something like, “Kiss me before my boyfriend comes back.”
Well, now that I think on that, that is never appropriate for wear.
But, you know what I mean? Or those stupid little monkey shirts. Or panda, zebra, frog, or anything remotely like that. I hate those no matter who is wearing them, well save for maybe five year olds. But those shirts are never really “cool” to wear, and should kind of just be burned.
Maybe I just have something against Limited Too. I shopped there as a wee one. Rather I wanted to, because Limited Too was so expensive when you could get virtually the same thing at Target for half the price. Really now? I was very brand oriented as a small one. Limited Too, then Abercrombie and Hollister and such. Now as I have to manage my own money (well technically I learned this maybe 4 years ago) I realize that those clothes are ludicrously expensive! Even American Eagle is expensive. Hooray for sales!
Ahh, I remember my first trip into American Eagle. I was hanging out with “the cool girls” in 6th grade and they took me there. I sometimes think I was a kind of project too them. Nah, that gives me too much credit. Anyways, after going to Starbucks (and copying them in buying a chai tea, my first chai) we headed to American Eagle. I honestly felt so cool being there, and so afraid like I didn’t even belong there. Oh, youth. 6th grade was when I went from being “WOW YOU’RE A DORK” to a mere, “mmm, you’re awkward”.
Now of course I’ve settled into a comfortable, “Awkward yet okay with it, so it works”.
